Declaration of accessibility for H.-P. Klughardt GmbH

This is an accessibility statement from H.-P. Klughardt. We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our site so that it is available to all users.

Accessibility functions

This website is:

  • Accessible with the keyboard on both desktop and mobile devices
  • Responsive and allows zooming and adjustment of text size and other objects
  • Tested on a variety of browsers

Keyboard navigation

Our website can only be operated using the keyboard:

  • Activate and deactivate a checkbox with the space bar
  • Select drop-down menus using the up and down arrow keys
  • Use the tab key to navigate forwards between links
  • Navigate backwards between links with Shift + Tab

Changing the font size

The stylesheets used on our website allow you to change the font size. To do this, follow the instructions of your browser to adjust the font size.

Conformity status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.

[site_title] is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially compliant means that some parts of the content do not fully comply with the accessibility standards.

Content that is not yet accessible

The identified deficits and shortcomings are currently undergoing a continuous improvement process that is being worked on step by step. At the time of this declaration, the following content on the website is not yet accessible, as it is not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • There are list elements on individual pages that are not part of a list. | WCAG: 1.3.1
  • On some pages, the contrast between text and background is too low. | WCAG: 1.4.3
  • There is an ‘iframe’ element without a label. Navigating to this iframe with screen readers is difficult. | WCAG: 4.1.2
  • Some elements are not highlighted when the focus is set. | WCAG: 2.4.7
  • PDF documents are not always accessible. This may result in some users, particularly those using screen readers or other assistive technologies, having difficulty accessing the content.
